Choosing Your Account Type
When you sign up for Dollr, you will be asked to select your account type:
- Sole Proprietorship / Unregistered Business — For individuals, freelancers, and informal businesses that do not have official registration documents.
- Registered Business / Organization — For officially registered companies, NGOs, and other entities with business registration certificates.
Your selection determines which verification process you go through and which features are available to you.
Option A: Sole Proprietorship / Unregistered Business
This is the faster onboarding path. It requires individual identity verification only.
What You Need

Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, or PDF
Maximum file size: 5 MB
The image must be clear and legible with all details visible
Optional
Business Description — A brief description of what your business does (minimum 10 characters if provided)
- Upload a photo or scan of your government-issued ID.
- Fill in your business name, email, and ID details.
- Submit your application.
- Your account is created, and your documents are sent for review.
Option B: Registered Business / Organization
This path requires both business verification (KYB) and contact person verification (KYC). It is a two-step process.

After Submission: Verification Review
Once you submit your application (either path), your account enters a verification review:

- Generating API keys
- Processing refunds
